  • The Opportunity

    Purpose of Position

     

    This role will be directly responsible for production of two Notified Body accounts, consolidation of global financial results and group KPIs of the stream, implementation of best accounting practices globally to ensure one view of customers across the Globe.

    In this role, the Stream Controller will be expected to directly manage a team of Management Accountants and oversee billing activities of the Notified Body/s that currently form part of Notified Body Operations. The role exists within a matrix organisation and therefore requires pro-active collaboration within and outside of the Global Finance function.

     

    Location

    The role will be office-based located in the UK with national/international travel dependent upon business requirements.

    About You

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

     

    • Qualified accountant with CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification 
    • Confident, capable and credible with effective influencing and persuasiveness skills
    • Strong understanding of all aspects and functions of the finance function and a high level of competence of all accounting processes and procedures
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to relay financial information to the required stakeholders, solve conflicts and negotiate
    • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Team player with positive ‘can do’ attitude, solution orientated and goal driven
    • Ability to engage and motivate teams and individuals,
    • Ability to delegate tasks to team members where appropriate
    • Excellent professional ethics
