This role offers the opportunity to work with a number of cutting edge technologies across a range of web based applications. Working in a small team you will be supporting a number of concurrent in-flight projects and interacting with a diverse set of contacts ranging from product managers to production support staff.
You’ll also have the opportunity to liaise with external development partners and third party vendors based in both near-shore and off-shore locations and gain real experience in dealing and working within geographically distributed project teams. Strong communication and technical skills are at the heart of this role.
It offers some diversity and variety. You will be managing/supporting web based applications developed in .NET and housed on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will be working with MS SQL, Windows server, Powershell, ASP.Net MVC, Azure Storage (Blob, Tables and Queues), Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Batch, Azure Web Roles, Worker Roles, code deployments, code upgrades as well as documentation.
You will be working in a team that follows the DevOps ethos and as such, there will be an opportunity to develop yourself and bring ideas to the table.

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology department working as a Software Developer within the Darwin Development team based in Milton Keynes.
To be successful in this role you’ll have strong technical skills gained whilst working within a software development environment. You’ll be a confident self-starter who can work under the minimum of supervision and have experience and understanding of the processes and procedures needed to support the full software development life cycle. You’ll also have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and enjoy working within a team environment.
Experience in delivering solutions built on at least some of the following Azure components and services: Azure Storage (Blob, Tables and Queues), Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Batch, Azure Web Roles, Worker Roles
