The Resource Scheduler will work with consultants and clients, as well as other internal departments. Reporting to the Operations Team Leader, you’ll manage consultants schedules to prioritise projects in line with customer requirements, using all available information and in the most efficient way; using the available time and resources. You’re a perfectionist, so attention to detail, efficiency and prioritisation are a given with you.
Ownership, accountability and a proactive nature, you’ll take part in conference calls, review meetings and adhoc project management. Taking pride in your work, you’ll provide timely and accurate reports to the relevant audience and be able to meet tight deadlines.
The Resource Scheduler will develop, maintain and improve relationships with both internal and external parties. You’ll enjoy using your excellent written and verbal communication skills to create effective stakeholder relationships. You’ll thrive from the difference your making, to the business and the individuals you work with, both internally and externally.
You’ll follow up on Purchase Orders, log proposals, approve timesheets, maintain and update our internal systems and assist in maintaining ISO 9001 and 12025 Quality Management systems.
As you can see, it’s a busy role, and it doesn’t end there! Other ad-hoc activities need to be managed such as answering calls, responding to emails, arranging conferences, booking meeting rooms / events, making travel and accommodation arrangements.

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our newly created Operations team in Milton Keynes, working as a Resource Scheduler within the Cybersecurity & Information Resilience team.
We recognise that this is a complex role; therefore you’ll ideally have experience of working in a similar role.
A perfectionist, with the ability to work in a variety of environments, you’ll be a confident, pro-active individual with a hands-on approach and the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining strong attention to detail and an engaging, positive demeanor.
Spending the majority of your time at your desk, you’ll have excellent IT skills (e.g. proficient usage of Word, Excel, and Outlook etc.).
