  • The Opportunity

    The International Account Manager will be responsible for -

    • Building relationships with the existing international account portfolio, ensuring the customer’s needs are anticipated and fulfilled whilst renewing the subscription.
    • Acquiring new business through existing accounts and also new leads.
    • Maintaining regular contact, identifying solutions and helping the customer realise value in BSI's products and services.
    • Collaboration across the business is key, as is a drive for continuous improvement, development and achievement.
    • Delivering targets across all sales channels including commercial agents, local BSI offices and other partner organisations.
    • Using Salesforce data to manage, develop and improve the sales pipeline for both new and renewal business.
    • Using data to improve working methods, strategic plans and behaviours to reduce response time and improve conversion ratios, average sale values and customer satisfaction.
    • Flexible working required due to international portfolio time zones.

    We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Sales Account Management team in working as an Internal Account Manager based in our Chiswick, West London offices.

    About You

    • Educated to GCSE level - Grade C or above in English and Math, you must be confident with numbers and have excellent written and spoken English
    • Able to communicate with your portfolio across different time zones and demonstrate your understanding of their localized topics
    • Proven objection handling and negotiating skills
    • Experience of selling/account management to an international market  including identification of opportunities
    • Effective use of internal database systems and internet search engines to conduct thorough and effective research
    • Excellent customer service skills  dealing with a variety of customers and a drive to consistently exceed customer expectations
    • Ability to work independently with a creative and innovative approach to problem solving
    • A good team player, who shares knowledge and can see beyond immediate issues to recognise the bigger picture
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly
    • Highly motivated to meet and exceed targets within given deadlines.
    • A positive, motivated and enthusiastic outlook with a desire to learn and embrace new challenges
    • IT Proficiency: SFDC – intermediate, Word/Excel – intermediate 
    • Demonstrable ability to develop contact networks and relationships internally and within industry sector and client organisations
    • Fluent in Arabic both verbal and written is essential
