  • The Opportunity

    The purpose of the position is to help develop and manage certification schemes for Digital Construction, within the Built Environment. 

    This is an opportunity to join a high growth team and be instrumental in the development of our next generation of Kitemark Products.

    The role will involve a number of different activities including working with internal teams to support customers, manage the operation and growth of schemes, conducting assessments at client’s premises, supporting delivery of workshops and presentations for clients as well as managing the on-going surveillance requirements for certification schemes.

    The majority of the work will be office/home based, but there will be a requirement for the successful individual to be able carry out assessments on their own, though there will be training for this, as well as interface with a global base of customers by email, phone and face-to-face both on BSI and clients premises. The position will also require the successful candidate to attend trade shows, trade and technical committees and there will be the requirement for occasional overseas travel both within and outside the EU.

    To be successful in this role you’ll have strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to solve problems and take ownership of issues and have or have the potential to achieve technical competence and a thorough knowledge of the accreditation and regulatory requirements associated with our business.

     

    The ability to work under pressure, archive targets whilst maintaining composure and working to the highest levels of integrity are essential.

    Ideally have experience working in the Built Environment Sector (e.g. Buildings, Infrastructure, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management) and some form of technical or academic qualification (degree/HNC or equivalent).
