The role of Business Development Manager is primarily focussed on selling of BSI Certification and Testing services to a wide range of clients / Sectors accross a defined territory
This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client business needs and drivers, to position how BSI products and services including the Kitemark can enable organisations to improve, and manage the sales process to a successful conclusion.
Experience of relationship selling at Executive level into UK manufacturers, Furniture Manufacturers ,Compliance & Technical, Customer Service, Marketing , Commercial and Service departments or Organistations would be advantageos.

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Sales department in Milton Keynes, working as a Business Development Manager focusing on the Electrical & Gas sectors, within the Product Certification team.
To be successful you will have knowledge and experience of selling solution based products to support your commercial clients achieve business improvement strategies to drive efficiencies or drive brand / market share. Knowledge gained either in a similar sales or business development position, or through experience in implementing, or meeting, conformance to standards in these areas ideally in the customer service/ customer retention fields will be advantageous.
You’ll demonstrate proven experience of sustained over achievement in a NEW business sales environment selling solutions with AVO's of £35,000 plus per annum or selling into Brand leaders accross a variety of sectors and possess a proven/ demonstrable track record of significantly exceeding targets and expectations whilst working autonomously.
Excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills are essential in this solutions based sales role.
