    As part of the role you will be carrying out internal and external vulnerability testing and basic web application penetration testing independently for our clients. You will be assessing system configurations, including firewalls, network devices and Windows and Linux servers.


    This is a client facing role where your excellent written and verbal communication skills will be vital. With varied assignments working as part of a team or alone, your security skills and understanding of risk will ensure improved security for our clients.


    Ideally you’ll have conducted security assessments under the CHECK Scheme previously and have a strong technical background coupled with a curious nature.


    This role will be home based with the addition of frequent travel to client sites.

    About You


    To be successful in this role you will:


    • Have a passion for technology and a good awareness of the associated security risks.
    • You should have a strong technical background including experience of networks and Operating Systems.
    • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Be self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage your own time and responsibilities.
    • You will be able to demonstrate your skills and experience as a CHECK Team Member (CTM) or equivalent qualifications such as CREST Registered Penetration Tester or Tigerscheme Qualified Security Team Member (QSTM).
    • Be capable of holding (or already have) UK Government Clearance to SC level – due to the nature of the work
    • Be keen to develop your technical skills and wider industry knowledge.
