  • The Opportunity

     

    Purpose of Position

    To ensure an effective management of centralised documentation compilation and publication function in APAC to the best user-friendly format and meeting all business requirements for supporting certification services.

     

    To ensure the pertinent documents are available in Business Management System and up-to-date management system for its own processes and governance for both accredited and non-accredited business.

     

    To review and consolidate country C&R monthly reports and Risk Information, identify key concerns and / or improvements from the country C&R monthly reports.

     

    To ensure the up-to-date APAC staff (including ER Assessors) qualifications are in PointGlobal system.

     

    Under the guidance of Head of Compliance & Risk - BSI Asia Pacific,

    • design, implement and maintain the APAC C&R Intranet webpage
    • develop procedures for the region
    • compile the regional C&R Activity Program
    • participate in regional C&R audit

     

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    • Working collaboratively with country C&R function to review APAC regional and countries documentation to ensure alignment to APAC documentation hierarchy and Global documentation
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation in Business Management System (BMS) for APAC
    • Consolidate APAC countries yearly C&R Activity Program and maintain up-to-date regional yearly C&R Activity Program
    • Coordinate regional C&R activities including internal audits, C&R related training and promotion, conference or meeting
    • Coordinate APAC impartiality committee
    • Consolidate Country impartiality committee outcomes and prepare summary report for APAC impartiality committee meeting
    • Consolidate and analyse internal audits and external audit results for recommending improvement opportunities

     

    • Support the preparation of APAC information for annual BSI CBMC meeting
    • Monitor the timely resolution of findings from APAC regional audits and external audits on APAC Countries
    • Maintain the most-updated personnel qualifications information on Point Global.
    • Consolidate country C&R monthly reports and prepare the monthly report to Global team
    • Maintain up-to-date information in the APAC Compliance & Risk intranet webpage
    • Ensure that all activities are undertaken in line with BSI protocols, policies and procedures.
    • Participate as regional audit team member
    • Other responsibilities as specified from time to time.

     

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Successful management of all documentation for APAC
    • Provide monthly report to Head of Compliance & Risk, BSI Asia Pacific regarding status of:
      • Documentation system
      • Accreditation activities in APAC
      • resolution of findings from Regional Audits and external audits
      • C&R improvement actions
    • Timely update the competence information in PG system

    About You

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

    • Graduate calibre preferred
    • Fluent English language skills both written and verbal. Other language(s) is an advantage
    • Knowledge and experience of documentation management and compilation, experience in certification and / or accreditation matters is an advantage
    • An enthusiastic and committed team player
    • Ability to work collaboratively across a matrix organisation
    • Be self-motivated, flexible, with good time management/planning skills
    • Good IT skills including all office packages, working experience of business systems is an advantage
    • Ability to understand and focus on delivery of assigned tasks
    • Willing to travel on business
