  • The Opportunity

    BSI Knowledge Solutions are developing a structured set of standards-centric services to expand on current offerings and complement strengths in knowledge creation and distribution. This will allow BSI to:

    • Be recognised for global influence and reach, with a global network of experts, clients and associates supporting thought leadership and content creation
    • Further develop standards with global expert input and global application
    • Advise, implement and embed solutions that are standards-centric to meet client requirements

    A priority set of these new services is based around the implementation of standards-centric advice. For this new business line to be successful an experienced operational consulting delivery leader is required. The remit will be to lead the development of this function and support the delivery team within Knowledge Solutions and other parts of BSI Group.


    This role is pivotal for delivering targeted sustainable business growth within BSI in alignment with an ambitious strategic plan. The new service offering will be delivered to a global client base and relevant international experience is essential.

    An excellent opportunity for a Head of Consulting role to join our Knowledge Solutions team in Chiswick, West London.

    About You

    • Strong management consultancy or professional services experience in an operational delivery function
    • Demonstrable experience (10 years+) of establishing a new profitable consultancy business, ideally within larger business
    • Experience of, and comfortable with, operating in a matrix organization
    • Experience of working with culturally diverse client groups
    • Working across a range of international markets and demonstrable experience of creating and delivering consulting engagements in different countries
    • Robust experience of solution selling, with the ability to win client trust
    • Excellent networker with strong communication skills, experience of building and sustaining relationships
    • Demonstrable persuasion and influencing skills
    • Degree or equivalent in Business, Management, Economics or similar field
    • Ideally, but not compulsory, experience of standards creation and development
