  • The Opportunity

    With direction from BSI’s global marketing leadership, this role will execute BSI’s social media strategy and be the champion of social media for BSI globally. The Senior Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for the ongoing management and growth of BSI social media presence and activities in alignment with business strategies and goals.


    The role requires a good working knowledge and high level of understanding of Social to help define and establish KPIs and provide insights and best practice support to country, sector and business streams so that the implementation of the Social strategy is consistent, effective and delivers the desired results.


    The role requires hands-on application to ensure that the marketing teams understand the process for executing the Social strategy, with activities including auditing, reviewing and recommending course(s) of action to deliver results. It may require the holder to provide face-to-face, online and group training and the presentation of “what good looks like” with the aim of being the best in class.

    About You

    More than 3 years’ of working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing social media initiatives

    • Knowledge of digital marketing current best practice and understanding of digital product processes
    • Knowledge of media strategy and how social media can be integrated into the communications mix
    • An active user and advocate of social media with experience of social media platforms, including, and not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube
    • An understanding of how key digital marketing disciplines integrate
    • Digitally savvy and IT literate
    • Used CMS, search console and other digital and social platforms
    • Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written), and confident in writing, editing and crafting content for social media
    • Numerate and analytical especially around digital and social metrics
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and project management skills
    • Ability to plan and prioritise
    • Be prepared to implement tasks
    • Ability to influence external and internal contacts including suppliers and agencies
