  • The Opportunity

    This is a temporary role to support the Standards Solutions team within the Knowledge Solutions division of BSI. We are looking for a Project Manager to help define, manage, drive and report on a small number of projects and pilots within a wider with the goal of delivering to project objectives by the end of the 6 month contract.

     

    The Project Manager will report to the Solutions Development Manager and work closely with them, the Product Manager and the Head of Standard Solutions to shape and structure the projects, identify knowledge within the business to contribute, facilitate progress, and report effectively to a wider group of stakeholders as well as the programme board.

     

    It is likely the initial phases will involve some Sprint methodology and the Project Manager will be working closely with a Product Manager for at least one project.

    About You

    • Proven track record in project management execution
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
    • Proven track record of effective stakeholder management
    • Experience of running projects within the information / publishing industry
    • Exceptional organizational, time management, and people skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • A collaborative working manner, supporting the Project Sponsor, Product owners and project stakeholders
    • Ability to work with stakeholders, irrespective of rank, in a consultative and respectful manner
    • Degree level or equivalent body of publishing experience working with in content management and delivery
