    We have a pivotal and exciting opportunity here at the BSI Group for an EMEA Commercial Director to lead, motivate, innovate and continually improve the EMEA Product Certification business such that it meets the financial, employee and customer satisfaction targets of BSI. 


    The role is a truly European position working closely with the sales and marketing stream teams within the EMEA countries. The role can be based in either of our European office and you will be the interface within the global stream heads, laboratory heads and Service Delivery all of whom direct the delivery for this stream.

    About You

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

    • Develop and drive the implementation of the Product Certification strategic plan with EMEA leadership team and regional directors, in collaboration with the global PC heads this will include owning and driving sales, revenue, gross profit and contribution
    • Support the countries through liaising with the laboratories, customer services and delivery teams to ensure that sales are driven through to revenue and contribution
    • Develop and drive new lines of product or service certification revenue and market opportunities identified by the country teams either via local delivery or through the global stream
    • Hold accountability for the launch of new products, including development of GTMP in line with business objectives and product lifecycle management
    • With the Country leadership teams and Sales & Marketing Directors lead, influence and develop the go to market strategy and activity to achieve the budget and grow the stream in EMEA
    • Own and identify Executive account responsibility for EMEA key PC clients
    • Lead, coach, mentor and develop regional Prod Certification teams in line with the business talent management strategy including ongoing succession planning across EMEA and Product Certification
    • Represent the market as a member of the Global PC Exec inform, support and develop Global strategy including product, process, people and systems
    • As part of the EMEA Executive team, support all other EMEA business areas in achieving overall assurance business strategy
    • Driving a continuous improvement program around reporting performance of Product Certification stream
