  • The Opportunity

    Do you want to be part of a successful Conference and Events Team? Do you want to take the lead on events management and be responsible for operations/logistics, sales and marketing? 


    As the Conferences and Events Manager you will be required to research topics, select presenters to be a part of the event, facilitate the day and to help everything run smoothly. In addition you will be promoting the activities of the Conferences and Events team across BSI.


    Not only that you will be leading the events team, be accountable for budgets but most importantly you will be driving continual process improvement.

    About You

     To be successful in the role, you must have:


    • Solid experience of managing a conferences and events team
    • A strong understanding of all four pillars of event management: production, operations/logistics, sales and marketing
    • Conference production experience
    • Ability to construct persuasive and logical arguments to progress business opportunities
    • Financial skills focused on P/L
    • A customer-focus (internal and external) and the ability to prioritise
    • Degree level or equivalent
    • Project management qualifications
    • Collaboration skills
    • Delivery focused and results driven
