The main purpose of this role is to assist with the production, management and administration of BSI events. You'll be an essential part of the Conference & Events team and the holder will work across a number of events, from concept to completion, in addition to playing a key part in the smooth-running of the department.
As well as supporting the Events team, you'll be also responsible for managing the delivery of a portfolio of events related to UK hosted international meetings and training events.
Strong organisational skills and ability to focus while working on multiple projects at the same time are at the heart of this role. You’ll have constant interaction and engagement with your colleagues within the BSI and external suppliers. We currently have an exciting opportunity in our team in Chiswick, West London, working as an Events Logistics Executive.
To be successful in this role you’ll pay a strong attention to detail and have the ability to multi task, prioritise and meet deadlines. You’ll also demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and have proven administrative skills and experience interacting with internal and external clients or customers. You’re also commercially aware and able to successfully negotiate contracts with venues/suppliers.
You’ll be managing multiple projects across a variety of topics so excellent organisational, administrative and project management skills are must. You are also proactive and eager to learn and advance your career in the events industry.
