  • The Opportunity

    We currently have an exciting 12 month fixed term contract opportunity here at BSI for a Head of People Development (EMEA) role in our HR team based in Milton Keynes. This position will be a maternity leave cover and will be part-time (3.5 days per week).

     

    This role will be responsible for developing and delivering the EMEA people development strategy/provision. In particular the leadership development strategy; providing thought-leadership, insight and solutions that address the needs of a diverse and complex group.

     

    You will be leading a small team of UK people development specialists as well as managing the L&D budget across EMEA.

     

    This role will report to the Group People Development Director and will work closely with BSI’s Operational HR Directors, HR teams and business leaders within BSI to support, deliver and embed initiatives which meet our overall business strategy.

    About You

    Skills and experience required for this role:

    • Experienced in the delivery of a people and talent development service in a matrix environment
    • Leadership Development specialist knowledge
    • A thorough understanding of training, workshop and team day design
    • Experience of leading the design and facilitation of innovative, embedded leadership development solutions
    • Supplier management experience
    • Level A & B psychometric accreditation is desirable
    • A Coaching qualification is desirable

     

    You will be highly credible and have excellent communication skills. In addition you will demonstrate passion for all things learning and development resulting in a strong customer focus.
