  • The Opportunity

    This is a key role responsible for managing the Medical Device ISO 13485 certification scheme within the dedicated medical device technology team. The successful candidate will also provide direct support to Medical Device Scheme Managers in the management and operation of their CE-marking certification schemes across the range of BSI certification-related services to BSI clients world-wide.

    We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Medical Devices team in Milton Keynes, working as a Certification Specialist.

    You’ll be working in a customer orientated environment associated with medical devices and have a good understanding of both quality management principles and the quality management system certification processes. Your structured approach, excellent organisation and prioritisation skills mean that you plan effectively, have an eye for detail and are committed to delivering a excellent service, on time. An effective communicator and team player, you’ll thrive in a highly regulated and challenging environment where your contributions are really valued.

    In addition you’ll have:

     

    • The ability to understand, interpret, and explain legislation with an appreciation of operating within a highly regulated environment
    • Sound computer skills (e.g. Windows, Excel, Word) and ability to learn BSI systems e.g. SAP
    • High levels of initiative with a strong focus on delivery
