  • The Opportunity

    The Director - Global Infrastructure and Service Management role is a pivotal leadership position within Global Technology. The Director of Global Infrastructure and Service Management is accountable for developing the end to end strategy for Global Infrastructure and Service management aligned to the business strategy and plan.

     

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    • Overall responsibility for ensuring timely, appropriate, secure and efficient provision and continuous improvement of Global Technology services across end user, network, voice, storage and office infrastructure
    • Responsible for BSI’s Technology infrastructure delivering against group strategy for existing and future requirements
    • Responsible for the development and compliance with all Global Technology standards, processes and governance in a manner consistent with ITIL
    • Accountable for BSI’s global technology meeting ISO9001, ISO27001 and other prevailing standards
    • Accountable for protection, resilience, performance and availability of BSI’s live technology operations and services
    • Accountable for budgeted operating expenses to deliver against technology and business objectives
    • Accountable for effective management of risks pertaining to BSI’s technology infrastructure, services and operations
    • Own and direct development and operation of the Global Technology Service Catalogue
    • Responsible for delivering on Global service level agreements as set with the business units against quality, availability and performance KPI’s

    About You

    • Strong senior leadership and management level experience in defining and managing global infrastructure and service management in an organization of BSI’s scale and global reach or larger
    • Ability to actively participate in the collective management of the Group IT organization, owning and promoting Leadership Team policies, strategies, plans and decisions and supporting the success of all objectives held by members of the Leadership Team.
    • Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.
    • Demonstrable experience in definition, implementation and management of a global service strategy.
