  • The Opportunity

    The Group Head of Procurement is accountable for developing and implementing the global procurement and contract management strategy focused on delivering efficient, cost effective and innovative commercial solutions across circa £100M of supplier spend.


    The Group Head of Procurement will manage the procurement process and the supply base efficiently and effectively, delivering intelligent cost reductions, effectively managing supplier spend, managing and mitigating procurement and supply chain risk.


    The Group Head of Procurement will be responsible for ensuring we have the correct people, processes and tools in place to meet short and long term business objectives aligned to the wider Business Plan.


    The role is accountable for driving forward continuous improvement across procurement, contract and supplier management to improve performance and deliver value.

    About You

    • Experience of working at a senior leadership Level in a complex Global organization and operating in a matrix management environment
    • Operating large, complex Global service based supplier contracts with lifetime values of over £20M
    • Developing and implementing Global Balanced Scorecards around supplier performance functions
    • Proven experience of designing and implementing a Target Operating Model for procurement and commercial contract management
    • Experience in all aspects Governance & Operations
    • Demonstrable experience in setting up and leading a Centre of Excellence
    • Demonstrable expertise in Procurement, Contract Management and Supplier Management best practice processes and procedures across Global category spend
    • Knowledge of Integrated Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning
    • Strong financial and commercial experience across global matrix organisations
