    Job Title         :           Human Resources Advisor

    Reports To     :           Country Manager and Finance Manager

    Purpose of Position

    This role is responsible for partnering with Line Managers to provide first line HR advise, support and guidance for all HR related activities in the business. This role is responsible for providing efficient and accurate HR advise and administration support consistent with industry best practise and clearly contributes to effective business performance.


    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    Human Resources:

    • Responsible for providing a ‘business partnering’ HR service for all HR related activities including, recruitment, induction, reward, performance management, sickness absence, learning & development.
    • Proactively manage an effective recruitment and onboarding/induction process providing support to Line Managers as required
    • Manage the PDR process from an HR perspective, providing training, support and guidance on the process and systems to Line Managers. Working with Line Managers to identify high and under performers focusing on motivation and retention of talent, and establishing development plan for under performers.
    • Manage the annual compensation review process providing training, support and guidance to Line Managers.
    • Identify any potential people issues and flag to the relevant Line Manager
    • Provide sound first line advice/guidance to the business on all HR matters ensuring all HR policies, procedures and good HR practise are implemented.
    • Provide support and guidance to line managers/employees on all HR systems (MyCareer/MyCompensation)
    • Work with the Country lead and leadership team to develop and implement wellbeing agenda
    • Champion and educate the business on flexible and agile working to support retention, inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
    • Continually review and improve local HR processes, policies & procedures to ensure achieve business objectives.
    • Drive and implement HR projects along with the Head of HR across Asia Pacific
    • Keep up to date on future employee and people trend to educate the business in preparation for adapting and meeting future employee needs.
    • Proactively keep abreast of local legislation changes.
    • Carry out or contribute to activities and projects as required to support the achievement of business and functional objectives.
    • Any HR Asia Pacific admin and reporting

    The Business Development Executive is primarily responsible for selling BSI products and services to new and existing customers across a defined BSI product suite.  This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client business needs and drivers, to position how BSI products and services can enable organisations to improve and manage the sales process to a successful conclusion.

    About You

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

    • Degree holder or above with major in HR, Business Administration or related discipline preferred
    • Proven experience in an HR advisor role essential
    • Previous work experience in a commercial International company within Asia Pacific region a strong advantage
    • Solid experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll, compensation and taxation filing preferred. Must have experience of managing administrative processes.
    • Experience in line managing a team preferred
    • Strong computer literacy essential, working knowledge and proficiency in HR software & systems requires particularly in SAP HR and HRM Essentials.
    • Strong knowledge of local Employment Ordinance and Tax Regulations required
    • Self-motivated, proactive individual who acts with a sense of urgency is critical.
    • Has an eye for detail, ability to work independently, under pressure and good at prioritising workloads to meet deadlines
    • Excellent in interpersonal & communication skills, confident at liaising with senior management and have the ability to work effectively in a regional matrix environment
    • A good team player and willing to lead
