We seek an experienced, qualified Project Manager to manage the implementation of a Time Intelligence System that will capture working time records for 200 users across multiple teams.
Currently, our teams record time in either in SAP or using Excel records that are then manually consolidated. We are moving all teams onto a new system that will give a consistent and improved experience for users as well as delivering improvements in approval management and reporting.
We are procuring an off-the-shelf SAAS solution that will require an amount of configuration to meet the specific needs of each team. There is a tight scope for the implementation having a clear focus on setting up effective time-recording with minimal system integrations. We are looking to deliver a quick-paced and well managed implementation and roll-out.
The Project Manager will work alongside a vendor implementation team and co-ordinate all internal resources and activities to ensure that business side requirements are met and then execute on system roll-out.
This is a great opportunity for a project manager with a versatile skill-set looking for a short-term contract position that will allow them to demonstrate their capability across the range of Project Management competencies.
The role will report into a Business Lead and have the backing of a senior Executive Sponsor. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering similar implementations within a tight timeframe
Create and maintain a well-structured project plan with clear milestones, timeline and change control.
Manage the project scope, project schedule and project costs (if any) using appropriate verification techniques; flag the identification, mitigation and management of risks and issues to the project
Translate the existing documentation into a clear set of requirements that can be managed through the implementation and that will form the basis of structured test plans.
Manage vendor interaction at the project management level including making sure that the business provides required information and makes decisions in a timely fashion.
Manage legacy data migration approach for ongoing projects.
Establish and co-ordinate a configuration authority with representatives from all user groups and determine the most appropriate approach for on-going system administration.
Manage and regularly update the project Steering Group.
Creation and delivery of a communications plan to inform the different teams impacted by the implementation of purpose, timelines and required action.
Scope and direct the training programme including materials for both internal and external users.
Responsible for the closure of the project, including process documentation and lessons learnt.
