  • The Opportunity

    Purpose of Position

     

    To act as a member of the Accounting team within the Russia Finance department and carry out accounting and control responsibilities as directed by the Chief Accountant. The core responsibilities for the team, and for the role holder, are the following:
    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities


    1. Payroll operations, including basic documents’ preparation;
    2. Preparation and submission of all reports on insurance contributions and personal income tax to the tax authorities and funds;
    3. Maintenance of the Intercompany operations, including preparation of delivery act and cooperation on signing and receipt of their originals, monthly balance confirmation at the end of the month / year with foreign counterparties, maintenance of corporate registers;
    4. Control on the compliance to the currency legislation of the Russian Federation by the company. Monthly timely submission of documents to the bank;
    5. Participation in the corporate closing of the month / year and annual audit within responsibilities;
    6. HR documentation;
    7. Preparation of the VAT declaration, including the issue of advance invoices, tax agents’ invoices, free of charge invoices;
    8. Preparation of books of sales and purchases. Maintenance of separate VAT accounting;
    9. Preparation of the property tax report;
    10. Conducting the annual inventory, including reconciliation with the tax authorities;
    11. Performing the functions of other employees of the Finance department during their holidays;
    12. Other responsibilities by order of Chief Accountant.

    About You

     Knowledge / Skills / Abilities


    • High economic education;
    • Track record on this position– a minimum of 5 years;
    • Knowledge of how to organize flow of documents related to the bookkeeping and data processing technology of such information;
    • Knowledge of forms and methods of bookkeeping at the organization, plans and posts of accounts and accounting policies of the organization;
    • Team player with good communication skills and a positive ‘can do’ attitude;
    • Knowledge of the inventory check process;
    • Strong numerical skills;
    • Ability to build lasting relationships with business leaders and managers;
    • Able to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines;
    • Accuracy and attention to detail;
    • English knowledge (desirable level – Upper-intermediate);
    • Excel literate.
