  • The Opportunity

    This is an exciting opportunity working alongside the Bids & Tenders Manager to support the sales teams in coordinating the organisations response to tenders for both prospective and existing clients. Working across all the organisations activity streams this will include, after a period of training, working independently on opportunities as well as supporting the Bids & Tenders Manager on larger projects, as well as having a direct input on improving submission quality.

    About You

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

    • Preparation of new bids and tenders for submission.
    • Gaining, logging and reporting feedback on submissions
    • Ensure Bids and Tenders meet the BSI criteria re quality and relevance of ITT’s received
    • Carry out Bid no Bid evaluation
    • Track bids and tenders on Salesforce
    • Research, gather and edit information for the inclusion within submissions
    • Co-ordinate submission activity with relevant stakeholders
    • Maintaining and updating central library of project information
    • Co-ordinating tenders and process liaising with Sales, marketing, compliance & risk, legal, clients and finance.
    • Monitoring of relevant tender publication notification channels/portals for appropriate bids and tenders opportunities

    • Quality and accuracy of bids and tenders prepared and submitted within agreed timescales.
    • Build relationships with other departments and divisions.
    • Track outcomes and success ratios
    • Archive all submissions
    • Update Tender Library


    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

    • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
    • Ability to cope with pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Excellent written and presentation skills
    • Ability to influence at senior levels
    • Computer literate with particular experience of Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and internet based applications.
    • A good understanding of the end to end sales process

    Desirable skills

    • 2nd Language
    • Some experience with bids or sales proposals
